In celebration of the GBBO and all things yummy, we got our bake on and *attempted* to make the prettiest cake you ever did see: a naked cake! The naked cake is not as saucy as it sounds, but it is damn-right delectable. Not for the faint-hearted, this bad boy will have you so proud of your accomplishments post-bake, you’ll practically be filling out your entrance form for 2017’s series. Let’s get to it!

It’s that time of year again! Back to the classroom for lessons, grades and homework. It’s easy to feel as if this time of year is bittersweet. Bitter as it means the end of the summer, a season we never want to see end. But it’s sweet because, if you’re stationery obsessed like us, you get that joyous thrill of purchasing new stationery and beautiful things for back to school time. Having something new that makes you smile is invaluable on a drizzly Monday morning. It can be that little pick me up throughout the week. We have thoughtfully selected some items which we think are perfect for keeping you organised on those fresh September days, and happy throughout the rest of the year.

Summer is well and truly here people! Nothing says the season is in full flow like the urge to grab your hat and make a run to the nearest exotic location. At Sass & Belle, we love to explore and then share our travel stories with you. Our very own Noemi, Sass & Belle’s Ecommerce Trading Coordinator, went to the beautiful Amalfi Coast and had the most wonderful time. As the ‘summer’ weather continued to disappoint and the EU referendum results caused chaos across the UK, we were at The Bloggers Hangout having So. Much. Fun. The Celebration was in aid of The Bloggers Hangout’s third birthday. The event took place at The Strand Gallery, not far from Charing Cross, London. A range of brands and a whole host of bloggers were invited, and so we got to meet lots of new faces. It was all rather delightful! Read on to hear more…
