Having a lovely space to work in can completely affect your productivity and mood; in fact having an organised and functional desk can shave hours off your day. Just a little sprinkle of love here and something pretty there and you’ll feel a whole lot better about finishing that spreadsheet/phone call/email etc. Follow our simple and easy tricks to make your stationery pretty as a picture and the entire office will be swarming around desperate for you to share your secrets. There is something about summertime that makes everyone smile, no one can deny that. But what exactly is it that makes us happier folk? Perhaps it’s simply the sun? Or maybe the longer, warmer evenings? Or it could be being at the beach with the feeling of sand between your toes? It seems everyone has a different answer on what it is that makes these warmer months so magical. Trusting in our loyal customers, we recruited your help to solve our curiosities. Last month we launched a competition and we also asked you ‘what’s your favourite thing about summer?’ Some of the answers completely inspired us so we’ve dedicated a whole blog post to what we (that’s you too) love about summer. Wedding season is well and truly upon us! Whether you’re a guest sipping Champagne or you’re walking down the aisle and saying ‘I do’ it’s hard not to have all the love go to your head (or maybe it’s the bubbles!). Each wedding we’ve attended we’ve collectively cooed and applauded as Brides continue to wow us with their incredible table displays. Becoming as integral as the food being served (well, almost), knowing what sets a good table display apart can be hard. At Sass & Belle we admire those thrifty folk who can turn an old, unwanted item into an upcycled treasure. So we tried our hand at it and we’re pretty pleased with the results (even if we do say so ourselves). It’s easy to be crafty and kind to the environment and we’re going to share with you our results and tips. This week we took some old unloved books and turned them into art. Yep…that’s right. Art!
