Sometimes it’s completely and utterly necessary to give your work space a bit of a face-lift (and nothing at all to do with procrastination, honest). Having a lovely space to work in can completely affect your productivity and mood; in fact having an organised and functional desk can shave hours off your day. Just a little sprinkle of love here and something pretty there and you’ll feel a whole lot better about finishing that spreadsheet/phone call/email etc. Follow our simple and easy tricks to make your stationery pretty as a picture and the entire office will be swarming around desperate for you to share your secrets. There is something about summertime that makes everyone smile, no one can deny that. But what exactly is it that makes us happier folk? Perhaps it’s simply the sun? Or maybe the longer, warmer evenings? Or it could be being at the beach with the feeling of sand between your toes? It seems everyone has a different answer on what it is that makes these warmer months so magical. Trusting in our loyal customers, we recruited your help to solve our curiosities. Last month we launched a competition and we also asked you ‘what’s your favourite thing about summer?’ Some of the answers completely inspired us so we’ve dedicated a whole blog post to what we (that’s you too) love about summer. You all know by know that we love the vintage look here at Sass & Belle. Many of our product collections have a real vintage, distressed or shabby chic look to them. What you may not know is that we’re also big fans of the upcycling trend, and we always jump at the chance to give an old piece of furniture a new lease of life when we are dressing our trade show stands and Sass & Belle shops, and also for our own homes. Better still is when we get to use own products in the process, particularly our great range of hardware.
