During the summer we had some beautiful origami cranes taking pride of place in our Sass & Belle store windows. Made from our delightful wrapping paper (which you can buy here), they proved to be very popular with customers and passers-by! We had people bartering, buying and begging us to show them how to make these beautiful decorations. Here we have a step-by-step video showing how easy they are to make.

So we tried our hand at it and we’re pretty pleased with the results (even if we do say so ourselves). To mark the start of British Flowers Week we decided to celebrate the beautiful blossoms with our very own how to. Flowers can make a room and they are often said to change the entire feel of a wedding, thus considered a vital part of the preparations. Dried flowers are currently very on-trend with Brides-to-be. Not only do they add tons of rustic charm, but they last too. This means you can get crafty with them weeks before your big day and your masterpiece won’t wilt.
