One of the many reasons we love Autumn is because of the beautiful colours. Leaves fall turning the ground gold, amber and pink! We’re often wondering how the end of a summer can be so beautiful and colourful. In honour of this, and to pay homage to this year’s trend of bringing the outdoors in, we got creative making mini autumnal-inspired bouquets. They’re super easy to make and a great way to bring some autumn cheer in the home. Sass & Belle’s resident Visual Merchandiser, Caitlin, is not only incredible at creating eye-catching window displays, but she knows a thing or two about floristry as well. Here she shares her tips and tricks with us and shows us, step-by-step, how to make perfect mini bouquets in autumn shades.

Oh we do love a reason to celebrate and eat more sweets than is medically advised. And that, though not the only reason, is why we love Halloween. There is something nostalgic about the holiday and, at Sass & Belle, we feel as though we revert back to our childhood. The pumpkin carving, preparing your costume, trick or treating, or even a night in watching your favourite spooky movie: all of these playful activities contribute to why Halloween is one of our favourite times of the year! To get prepared and in the mood for spooks we have got an extremely simple and fun activity which will make the perfect sweet treat for you or your guests. It involves lots of candy and is an enjoyable recipe to make. We hope you have as much fun making these as we did!

Halloween is nearly upon! We adore the spooky festivities and in honour of the celebration we got a little crafty with some pumpkins. While we love the tradition of carving a pumpkin, we thought we’d mix things up this year. Let’s just say we challenged ourselves to make Halloween pretty, and we think we succeeded!

This week's DIY is inspired by the pumpkin, paying homage to bright treat. A spooky orange, yep that's right, is a perfect alternative to the usual trick or treats sweets or pumpkin decoration. Give away to your visiting neighbours and it will be sure to make them smile.
